Into the warm and stuffy.
I woke up thinking I am leaving china for good, i am not coming back anymore within the near future.This reminded me of the parting scene in Dalian. My china buddies dare not stay to see us leave for the airport. We hugged and waved goodbyes. Such scenario, close to tears. I will miss the cold, the wind, the heat and the laughter’s. (and the zi char a lot!)
On the last night in Dalian, we had a drink with our buddies. Lousy beers, cool companion I’ll say. Sp students includes Wanglan and me from DID and, Ivan and Ruihon from dxpd, together with our individual buddies. It was the best gathering ever in Dalian. I never had such fun drinking and munching barbeque golden mushroom. I never realized how much I liked our buddies. They spell fun and laughter’s altogether.
Still, we had to go home.
On the plane back to SG, a sudden sadness overwhelmed me when I came across this on a book.
“The only thing more unthinkable than leaving is staying; the only thing more impossible than staying is leaving.”
Well, we all had to part some day. Meanwhile, I have you in my heart my friend.
